  • Problem summary:
A WebSphere Application Server on z/OS is configured to use the
MQ JMS Resource Adapter where the RA level is 7.0.1.x

The Resource Adapter accesses native libraries to connect to MQ
in bindings mode, either through the Resource Adapter's "Native
Library Path" attribute or through the WAS server variable
    MQ_INSTALL_ROOT.

If the RA is configured to access native libraries from MQ z/OS
V7.1.0, then an FFDC with ProbeId JM659002 is issued during
server startup reporting a structure size mismatch between the
Java and native code for the RXPB structure.

    Problem resolution:
The MQ Resource Adapter has been updated to correct an error
in the calculation of the RXPB control block size, so that the
JM659002 FFDC will not be issued.

This fix changes the Java component of MQ, and will be
    included in a FixPack APAR.

The V7.0.1 fix will be included in FixPack 7.0.1.12 (PM96878).
