PM81664: L INSTEAD OF LLGT FOR LP64 $STATIC Q-CON

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Access to static data in AMODE64 is loading a Q-CONS value using
  an 'L' instruction, which performs a 31-bit load and does not
  modify the higher order bits in the 64-bit register.  If the
  register was previously used, and the higher order bits
  modified, the loaded value via 'L' may be invalid.  The higher
  order bits should be zeroed out via the 'LLGT' instruction.
