*                      symbol lookups.                         *

* RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
****************************************************************
Global SET symbols, i.e. macro symbols defined by the GBLA,
GBLB and GBLC HLASM instructions may be referenced by different
macros and in open code in contrast to local SET symbols, i.e.
macro symbols defined by the LCLA, LCLB and LCLC HLASM
instructions.  For users of large numbers of global SET
symbols, the assembler processing may take a disproportionately
long time.
