Error description

  • The TCP/IP callable NMI request, GetConnectionDetail, returns

NWMConnOutBuffered, and a zero timestamp for the age of data,
    NWMConnOutOldestTime.

    ****************************************************************
Module EZBNMGTC processes the TCP/IP callable Network Management
    Interface (NMI) request, GetConnectionDetail (NWMTcpConnType),
which collects information about active TCP connections.
EZBNMGTC gets control and if the connection has data on the send
or the receive queues, the TCB lock is obtained to safely
calculate the age (timestamp) of the data and count of the data
on the receive queue. But the count of the data on the send
queue was not obtained while holding the lock and the count
collected was actually for data that was not in the pipe.

Problem conclusion

  • Module EZBNMGTC has been amended to provide the correct data
count and timestamp for data on the send or receive queues.
