PM56982: ADD PDF INDEXING SUPPORT FOR TYPE 0 FONTS

APAR status

• Closed as fixed if next.

Error description

• When a PDF contains Type 0 fonts,  our Advanced
  linguistic search indexing will run wihout error but
  searching with Advanced Linguistics search will produce false
  negatives.  A lack of search hits for terms contained in the
  document.
  The fix will be to repair the PDF document indexing function of
  Library Server
  
  MadCap Flare is an example of editor which produces PD
  with Type 0 fonts.
  

Local fix

• Avoid type 0 fonts
  

Problem summary

• The release to which this APAR applies (Library Server 3.3 for
  zOS V1R10 and z/OS V1R11) is out of support.  It will be fixed
  in Library Server 3.4 for zOS V1R12 and V1R13 for which APAR
  PM56965 is already open.
