PM54790: WMQ 7.0.1. STATS SHOWS INCORRECT MSGOUT COUNT

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• RESET QSTATS shows incorrect MSGOUT count even when
  the queue is  GET(DISABLED) by ALIAS
  .
  It was determined in L3 analysis that the CSQMIAGM will
  increment Mpdo.lIAMsgDeqCount for a shared queue
  regardless of the return code from an MQGET.

  A RESET QSTATS command is issued against a shared queue which
  is get-inhibited.
  Any MQGETs that have been issued against the queue since the
  last RESET QSTATS will be included in MSGSOUT although they
  were unsuccessful.
  

Problem conclusion

• CSQMIAGM has been altered to only record performance events
  for successful MQGETs on shared queues.
