Local fix

  • Change your jobs so that they specify a fully qualified MAIL
FROM when the file is put onto the spool.

    ****************************************************************
The current implementation of CSSMTP expects the creator of
the spool job to fully qualify the host.domain string on the
    MAIL FROM SMTP command.

Problem conclusion

  • The implementation of CSSMTP was changed to check the
MAIL FROM (SMTP) command for a fully qualified host.domain
string after the "@" symbol. If the string is not fully
qualified then CSSMTP appends the local domain name it
retrieves from the system resolver to the host name.
