APAR status

  • Closed as fixed if next.

Error description

  • ATTLS debug messages are written to syslogd. The timestamp in
the message can't be customized with a TZ variable using the
environment file coded on the TTLSGroup statement. Timestamps
    will be in GMT time.

Local fix

  • Code a CEEOPTS DD card in the TCPIP address space with the TZ
    environment variable set.

    ****************************************************************
TZ=EST5EDT was defined for several started tasks including
TCPIP, SYSLOGD, FTPD, and Policy Agent. ATTLS debug
messages, however, did not use this timezone specification.
They were written to syslogd using the default GMT time.
