    FREEMAIN bad R0 length value during termination.

Problem summary

    *                      or STORAGE RELEASE s larger than        *
    *                      the original GETMAIN or STORAGE         *
    *                      OBTAIN.                                 *

    *                      Second problem, a possible 0C4          *
    *                      abend during a call to a Rexx           *
    *                      PROCEDURE with an EXPOSE list           *
    *                      of variables.                           *

Problem conclusion

  • Both of these problems are hard to reproduce and will
     only occur infrequently. The first problem only occurs
     during program termination and only if certain
     diagnostics are enabled. It is not critical.
     The second problem is critical since a 0C4 ABEND
     might occur.
