  *                 CEETRACE running with LE/COBOL for z/VSE.    *

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: CEETRACE reports may display            *
  *                      an incorrect statement number. Any      *
  *                      active source code lookup will also     *
  *                      fail with a warning message. The        *
  *                      statement execution offset will still   *
  *                      be reported correctly.                  *

  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the provided PTF.                      *

  The LE/COBOL run-time service routine API that provides
  the execution statement number to CEETRACE does not clear
  the interface statement number field which allows for
  previous digits to remain in the returned value. This is more
  prevalent if the service API is called repeatedly such as when
  using CEETRACE.
  

Problem conclusion

• The LE/COBOL run-time service routine providing the used API
  to external applications has been corrected to completely
  initialise the statement number field upon each call.
