PI61391: ABEND0C4 IN EZBTVXNS+X'1BE'

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• At the point in EZBTVXNS where the abend occurs, EZBTVXNS's
  expansion of an ITRAS macro invocation is supposed to result in
  a copy of the value in the TVLU_ConnID field into the DUCB_cid
  field.  However, the value in GPR7, which is used to establish
  addressability for the TVLU_ConnID field, is x'7B73DE90', which
  is in unavailable storage, causing the z/OS operating system to
  take the abend0c4.    So apparently, the TVLU has been freed at
  this point.

  The problem may be summarized as follows:
  0. Shared ACB is in use.
  1. Telnet issues Reqsess, presumably after a Telnet client
  connects to the TN3270 server, passing the TVLU address in the
  NIB.
  2. The Reqsess is posted when the Initiate response is received.
  3. Sometime later, the TVLU is freed, presumably because the
  client dropped the connection.
  4. Sometime later, a Notify drives the NSEXIT passing back the
  address of the TVLU, presumably because the PLU rejected the
  session.
  5. EZBTVXNS references the freed TVLU, resulting in the abend.
  

Problem conclusion

• EZBTVXNS is updated to verify the TVLU address before using it.
