Error description
User runs the CSQLOG1P utility with the EXTRACT parameter set against an archive log data set. The log records are printed ok but some MQPUTs or MQGETs of shared messages are not written to the CSQCMT dataset. For example, for a URID that contains a number of INSERT SHARED requests only the first MQPUT will be printed to the CSQCMT dataset. The subsequent MQPUTs are missing.

Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users of WebSphere MQ for z/OS Version 7 * * Release 1 Modification 0. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When using the EXTRACT option of * * CSQ1LOGP to extract information about * * MQPUT/MQGET operations from the MQ * * logs, any operations performed by a * * unit of work after the put of a large * * (>4K) message to shared queue are not * * included in the CSQCMT/CSQBACK/CSQINFLT * * datasets. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** PI30907 changed CSQ1LEXT to ignore continuation log records associated with a message where the initial IRH9 log record was not contained in the log (for example, the logs being processed contained the IRHA page updates, but the IRH9 page update was logged to the following log dataset). An error in the implementation of this change causes log records associated with large shared queue messages to appear as an incomplete private queue message, causing them, and any subsequent operations in the same unit of work to be ignored.
Problem conclusion
CSQ1LEXT is changed to only flag IRHA records as part of an incomplete put, preventing records associated with shared queues being incorrectly ignored. 100Y CSQ1LEXT
