PI48700: NEW FUNCTION TO INDICATE CSSMTP IS RUNNING IN TESTMODE

Error description

• Enabling CSSMTP to run in TestMode.
  This function  enables users to verify that CSSMTP
  will properly handle JES spool file mail messages that are
  currently being handled by another mail program, such as SMTPD.

  IBM has issued a statement of direction that indicates that
  SMTPD will
  be withdrawn in a future release.  Therefore, z/OS© V2R1
  Communications Server
  now provides support to help you prepare for the removal of
  SMTPD and sendmail
  from z/OS.
  
   - A new test mode is provided for CSSMTP.  In this mode, CSSMTP
  analyzes JES
     mail messages for compatibility but does not send them.
  - To enable CSSMTP to  run in test mode while SMTPD processes
  mail workload as usual,
     EZBMCOPY  is provided to create copies of mail workload for
  both SMTPD and CSSMTP.
  - A techdoc is available under
  http://www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg27046813 to assist
  with running CSSMTP in Testmode and migration.
