Error description

• EZBRERIN is the Resolver's res_init() routine.  Some
  multi-tasking applications that invoke LE programs from within a
  task can get ABENDS00C4 in the first resolver call (such as
  gethostbyname()) from that program.

  A single-threaded, POSIX(OFF) Language Environment (LE)
  application runs in a nested environment and issues multiple
  resolver API calls. Through some sequence of calls or task
  termination steps, LE provides a pointer to information used by
  resolver that is different from the previous pointer used by
  this resolver task, but the resolver uses its old saved pointer
  and accesses freed storage, resulting in the abend.
  

Problem conclusion

• The resolver will save and use the input pointer provided by LE
  on this API call.
