Error description
Broker task joblog shows several: CSQY291E CSQWDSDM SDUMPX FAILED, RC=00000B08,XXXX, ABN=5C6-00C94300,LOC=CSQILPLM.CSQIRRSI+000009A4 . Dump generated TITLE: QMGR ABN=5C6-00C94300,U=XXXXXXXX,C=R3600.710.DMC -CSQIRRSI,M=CSQGFRCV,LOC=CSQILPLM.CSQIRRSI+000009A4 MQPUT received MQRC 2192 when a non-persistent message is sent. L3 found The abend is occurring due to an invalid persistent interest data length being passed to ATRSIT. The error occurs when the interest for an RRS connection is upgraded from non-persistent to persistent, and there is no existing uow associated with the EB. The problem was introduced by changes to CSQIRRSI made by APAR PI23325 - these have been applied due to PTF UI21877 (for APAR PI14223) which SUPs UI21632. The problem occurs when performing in syncpoint puts/gets of non- persistent messages to a mix of local and shared queues. Additional Symptom(s) Search Keyword(s): MQPUT mqrc 2195
Local fix
Either: a) Restore UI21877/UI21632 to remove the fix that is in error (PI23325). *Note that although UI21877 is fixing a PE, the error it fixes is very specific - it prevents a shared queue being recreated if DB2 connectivity is lost when the queue was previously being deleted or b) Depending on the application design it may be possible to avoid the problem by changing to use only local or only shared queues (although from the dump the abending thread has a handle on SYSTEM.CLUSTER.TRANSMIT.QUEUE, so using only shared queues might not be possible). or c) The dump shows that the abending task had opened an alias queue which resolved to shared queue; unless the application depends on this queue being a shared queue changing the alias to point to a local queue should avoid the problem.

The application then puts non-persistent messages to a shared queue, causing the interest to be upgraded to protected. If no persistent activity has taken place in the same unit of work, an error in the code added by PI23325 causes ATRSIT to be called with an invalid length value, leading to the reported abend occurring.
