Problem summary

* Abend 4C5 in EZBUDWRT caused by a negative value in the      *
* reference count field of the UCB event queue.                *

The reference count went negative because it was decremented
after the UCB had been released and reallocated.

Problem conclusion

  • A begin/end reference had been added around the code in EZBITTME
that posts the event to insure that the UCB cannot be released
until the post has completed.
