Error description

  • This problem is similar to that in PI09112, except this APAR is
    for the active log START and END RBA timestamps.

    For instance, the joblog shows that a log switch occurred at
    09:31:33, and CSQJU004 output for the archive log also has that
    timestamp. However, the active log information has the END RBA
    time in GMT, e.g. 13:31:33.

    LCLTIME needs to be initialized in CSQJW106 so that ACTESRP7
    and ACTEERP7 are set correctly. The problem depends on whether
    a particular bit is on in the residual data of the field.

    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The output of the print log map utility *
    *                      CSQJU004 may show the start / end       *
    * timestamps in STCK (UTC) time rather *
    * than in local time for the active logs. *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    CSQJW106 doesn't initialise LCLTIME before using it and as a
    result it may contain residual data. At offset x'29.1' is the
    fRawStck flag, which, depending on the residual data, may be
    incorrectly switched to ON. If this is the case then the
    timestamps of the active logs are written in UTC time rather
    that local time.

Problem conclusion

  • CSQJW106 will now initialise LCLTIME to zeroes.
    Similarly CSQJW306 and CSQJW009 will now initialise LCLTIME
    before using it.
