Error description

  • Abend 0c4 occurs in Dfsypso0 within the timeout checking
routine for CM1 and non shared queues. The abend can occur
when processing a PST for an IFP when the CLB pointer has
not been initialized. The code is trying to access the
YTIB using the CLBLU6WA at the time of the abend. Register 9
was not initialized earlier in the process to point to the
CLB.

After PI13929/UI17171, DFSYPSO0 failed to  initialize the CLB
pointer when processing a dependent region PST (DPST). If the
pointer contains residual data, it could result in an ABEND0C4.
