DSNSVSFB were caused by a one-byte overlay of free chain.

* Apply corrective PTF when available                          *

A free chain pointer was corrupted as a result of a one byte
overlay. Different abends were encountered as a result of
this corrupted free chain.

Problem conclusion

  • This is a serviceability APAR for Db2 to attempt to self heal
when it detects the free chain has been damaged -
ABEND04E 00E2000E in DSNSVSFB.
