OA62404: Z/OS 2.5 UPGRADE WORKFLOW TSOREXX DOES NOT CORRECTLY IDENTIFY ENABLED FEATURES. 21/11/11 PTF PECHANGE

Error description

• Z/OS 2.5 UPGRADE WORKFLOW (MIGRATION WORKFLOW) TSOREXX DOES NOT
  CORRECTLY IDENTIFY
  ENABLED FEATURES.
  
  PE Information:
   Users Affected: User who are using APAR OA61406 (PTFs:
                   UJ06879, UJ06880, UJ06881).
  When running the discovery step in the z/OS V2.5 Upgrade
  workflow, the discovery program does not properly detect all the
  features that are in use on the target system. As a result the
  steps related to those features are marked as skipped.
  

Local fix

• You can get around this issue by doing one of the following:
  1) If you run the discovery step, you can still perform the
  skipped steps.
  or
  2) When running the discovery step in the workflow, on the
  review JCL page, EDIT the JCL and change lower case z to upper
  case Z in :
     "if NAME = 'z/OS' & pos(test_feature,feature_list) > 0 then
  do"
  to
    "if NAME = 'Z/OS' & pos(test_feature,feature_list) > 0 then
  do"
  and
    "if pos('z/OS',NAME) > 0 & space(STATUS) = 'E' then do"
  to
    "if pos('Z/OS',NAME) > 0 & space(STATUS) = 'E' then do"
