Error description
The PSF product comes with 3 default separator exits, APSUX01 for Headers Pages, APSUX02 for Trailer pages, and APSUX03 for Dataset Separator Pages. They are included with the product and are listed in the JCLIN that comes with PSF. If a customer applies a SMP/E ++USERMOD to alter these Installation Exits after PSF install, and then APPLYs PTF UA78852 which included new JCLIN for PSF, the user will be unable to RESTORE their exits. SMP/E message GIM41101E ** SMP/E DID NOT RESTORE LMOD ENTRY APSUX01 FOR SYSMOD APSUX01 BECAUSE LMOD APSUX01 WAS CHANGED BY UA78852 will be received. ------------------------------------------------------------- PTFs for the PSF product that update the JCLIN for the product should have a ++HOLD for ACTION to warn the customer to remove their USERMOD prior to installing the ptf. ------------------------------------------------------------- The wording should be as such: If you have applied a usermod to your system for PSF installation exits APSUX01, APSUX02, or APSUX03, then remove the usermod(s) before applying this PTF . After applying this PTF, you can reapply your usermods to the system. A usermod for any other PSF installation exit is not affected by this PTF. (APSUX04, APSUX05, etc).
