OA48858: PSAPCCAV LOCATION X'208' OVERLAID BY IRASTMON UA90977 + X'926'

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• With ptf UA90977, UA90978 or UA90979 applied, it is
  possible for IRASTMON to overlay location x'208' field
  PSAPCCAV which is the pointer to the PCCA.  The
  problem only occurs with the fix for OA46396 applied.

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: With ptf UA90977, UA90978 or UA90979    *
  *                      applied, it is possible for IRASTMON to *
  *                      overlay location x'208' field PSAPCCAV  *
  *                      which is the pointer to the PCCA. The   *
  *                      problem only occurs with the fix for    *
  *                      OA46396 applied.                        *

  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
  ****************************************************************
  The procedure DeactivateMonitoring resets the monitoring counts
  in the STMA and also resets Rax_FreemainedFramesTarget when
  monitoring stops.  In the case of the problem, an address space
  was going through termination and RSM had freemained the RAX and
  zeroed the ASCBRSME field.  SRM module IRASTMON used an invalid
  RAX pointer of zero and stored x'100' at location x'208' instead
  of into a RAX.
  

Problem conclusion

• The procedure DeactivateMonitoring in IRASTMON has been updated
  to check the OUCBNSWI flag, which shows when the address space
  is in termination, and a reset of monitoring counts in the STMA
  and Rax_FreemainedFramesTarget will only be done for active
  address spaces.
