  *                      and react to mirroring events that      *
  *                      occur for offline devices.              *

  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
  ****************************************************************
  This PTF is in support of GDPS to provide a way for them to
  detect and react to mirroring events that occur for offline
  devices on their K-system(s). When Device Services receives a
  State Change Interrupt for an offline device that is eligible
  to come online via a new GDPS policy, Device Services issues a
  corresponding IEA494I. Otherwise, Device Services does not issue
  a corresponding IEA494I. GDPS PTF for APAR PI40907 must install
  Device Services PTF to take advantage of this support.
