Problem conclusion

  • The following changes have been made for each of the following
    fixes:
33074 - ISTSRRCQ - Fixed the inifinite CC2 loop issue trying to
arm the CQ. The problem was that PCIe_Done bit was not turned
    on after a successful PCIEDataStore.
31897 - Expand the ISTROCNS fields used for the CQ calculations
    to Fixed(32) values.
33402 - Defined a new bit, PSTABEND_Save. This bit will be set
on in ISTAPCKU (for VTAM memterm case) to save the PSTABEND
value prior to turning on PSTABEND bit. Module ISTSRIWT will
now chek PSTABEND_Save is off prior to calling ISTSRIFB for this
RUNCB. This should allow us to correctly skip CSM cleanup for
this RUNCB when TCP memterm has already cleaned up the CSM
    storage.
33458 - ISTLLCWT - Added check for PSTABEND_Save bit being on
prior to calling ISTLLCFB for VTAM memterm scenario Note: For
this chedk we must look at the DYPTSKID within the NCB_DYPAB
(DINCB), as the NCBTSKID (is VTAM's PST).
33494 - For the ISTSRIWC INOP 002 INOPDUMP, z/OS CS transitioned
the QPs immediately to reset state, bypassing the error state.
For this scenario, the stack is still up and running, so all
WQEs must be flushed and sent to the stack (for failover
processing). QPs may transition directly to reset state when a
stack is terminating as failover processing does not occur for
    this case.
29899/33878 - Added Adapter Interrupt Monitoring function.
New function introduces start option AIMON=ROCE. VTAM may also
issue IST2419I message group when the adapter interrupt
monitoring function is enabled. This message group indicates
VTAM detected that no interrupt had been generated for the
interface associated with trlename even though there was data
waiting to be processed, and that VTAM then initiated a virtual
interrupt to resume activity on the interface. The adapter
interrupt monitoring function is enabled using the AIMON start
    option.

A complete description of the message group follows the example:
IST2419I VIRTUAL INTERRUPT DRIVEN FOR TRLE trlename
    IST2361I SMCR PFID = pfid PCHID = pchid PNETID = network_id
    IST314I END
32898 - The SMC-R components detected that repeated attempts to
activate a QP as part of SMC-R establishment failed to complete
within an acceptable period. INOP processing is triggered for
the 10GbE RoCE Express interface. The INOP condition is
reported with new DLC status code of x'08105019'.
34008 - The Modify CSDUMP command will now allow message
IST2419I be issued on the MESSAGE parameter when
RNICTRLE=MSGVALUE is specified. This will allow automation to
dynamically capture a hardware dump when message IST2419I is
    issued for a RoCE device.
34269 - Traces reveal that z/OS CS is hitting a timing window
where two threads of the DIE (ISTSRRIE) are running
concurrently. This exposes an issue where the last thread did
    not re-ARM the EQ correctly.
34229 - The fix is just a small change to ISTSRIWT to also
validate that the MPST is not in the process of being freed
(MPSNFRED = OFF), prior to calling ISTSRIFB. A similar changes
    has been made to ISTLLCWT.
34456 - Linkage code has been corrected in module ISTLLCSB.
ISTLLCSB can be called by the stack and also by ISTLLCWT. But
the savearea setup requirements differ for each call, but the
code did not originally account for the differences.
