Comments

  • APAR OA43661 is the enabling APAR. The PTFs for this APAR will
ensure all appropriate Z/OS PTFs are installed for Multi-Target
    PPRC.

    < DEVSUPxx PARMLIB Enablement >
The user can update their DEVSUPxx member of PARMLIB to exploit
Multi-Target PPRC. This will be accomplished using a new
    keyword, PPRCMT.

    DEVSUPxx

              PPRCMT
Enables or disables the Multi-Target PPRC support.

                ENABLE(PPRCMT)
When the PPRCMT feature is enabled, support is
available to allow a device to be the primary of
                  more than one PPRC pair.

                DISABLE(PPRCMT)
When the PPRCMT feature is disabled, functionality
will be in single target mode.

The default value for PPRCMT is DISABLE(PPRCMT).
