  • Customer is using nimadm to migrate a AIX 5.3 TL8 NIM
client
to AIX 6.1 TL4. Customer's systems are in a large NIS
environment.
In this environment, the nimadm operation is taking 22
hours to
complete.

Local fix

  • Turn off NIS
