The segment control block (scb) structure's process pointer
(scb_pvproc()) would be 0 when it should not have been. The
segment would be marked scb_processdata() and scb_acct().
Checkpoint/restart would be either running or may have run. WLM
would surely be enabled.

* Possible system crash at fetch_and_addlp.  Checkpoint/restart
* would be either running or may have run.  WLM would be
* enabled.

* RECOMMENDATION:
* Install APAR IZ83947.

Problem conclusion


    

  • The segment control block of the checkpoint/restart segment
of the Logical File System (LFS) would no longer be marked
"accounting on". This will prevent WLM from accounting this
particular segment which is okay and would avoid the crash
too. Affects bos.mp64.
