Error description

  • The AIX Fibre Channel driver can lose access to the SAN fabric
directory server after a link event. The problem will only
occur with Emulex-family adapters which have dynamic tracking
or fast fail enabled (i.e. fscsi attribute dyntrk=yes or
fc_err_recov=fast_fail). The problem will only occur when
attached to a SAN switch. It is sensitive to the switch
behavior so will only occur with certain switches.
