Error description

  • HE, HV8 and HV4 systems reboot at the same time,
one of the LPARS's IB interfaces will not ping anymore.
In most of  the cases it was ib1 .

Problem conclusion


    

  • The problem was an interrupt received before the galaxy
device drivers had the EQ resources ready.
The problem, we were enabling the interrupts then we work
on allocating the EQ resources.
In normal conditions, that is never a problem.
But in this case, for some reason, the adapter fires an
interrupt when we were not ready.
The solution was to first, get all the resources and then
after the last step possible, enable the interrupts.
