Error description

• Too many fiber channel errors getting thru the
  diagnostics
  error reporting functionality.
  Customers that have IY79633 but still getting too many
  duplicate errors reported to the SFP (service focal
  point)
  should update to this new APAR.

Local fix

• Customer may clear errors out of the waiting queue using
  the following
  commands from the sending LPAR(s)
  
  stopsrc -s ctrmc
  stopsrc -s IBM.ServiceRM
  rmsrtbl-api /IBM/ServiceEvent/Resources
  startsrc -s IBM.ServiceRM
  startsrc -s ctrmc
  

Problem summary

• Large number of serviceableevents flood the HMC, causing
  performance issues on the HMC.
  

Problem conclusion

• Update libdiag.a in bos.diag.com to correctly recognize
  events that were previously reported.
