APAR status

Error description

  • When increasing VG size beyond 1TB its doesn't recognize
disk size increase on "chvg -g " different then 'lsvg' output.

Problem summary

  • $ varyonvg <vgname>-->says volumes have grown in size run chvg
$ chvg -g <vgname>
  0516-1382 chvg volume group is not changes. None of disks
            in te volue group have grown in size
  0516-732 unable to change volume group

Problem conclusion
