APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • For SAP application server application id is stored
wrongly for the monitor, it leads monitor method
fails to detec the application
properly and it leads AS RG goes to error state.

Local fix

  • work around provided to customer by manually modifying
the monitor

method and it resolved the problem.

Problem summary

  • AS instance RG is moving to error state
 after configuring the PowerHA SAP smart assist

Problem conclusion

  • Modified code to pass proper application id
for monitor to avoid failure
