APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • If the AIX Runtime Expert (artex.base.rte) is installed,
then during PowerHA Cluster Verification, various AIX
parameters (lvmo, nfso, no, etc.) are compared across
the cluster, and any inter-node differences are
highlighted with a WARNING message:

 WARNING: The paramter value max_vg_pbufs is not same...

If the nodes are not physically identical, then this
can cause many such warnings that are not relevant.

Local fix

  • Disregard the extraneous warning messages.

Problem summary

  • AIX runtime expert during verification
gives warning related to
lvmo(max_vg_pbuf and total_vg_pbuf)
due to inter-node differences.

Problem conclusion

  • code changes are done to remove
Aix runtime expert warning
messages.
