Error description

  • If the customer runs an AIX host with only rootvg disks
    and
    then performs operations such as 'reducelv' or shrinks
    the filesystem (using 'chfs'), then the system could
    crash.
    
    This is true even if the LVM or filesystem-type commands
    are running on removable media such as DVD or USB
    devices.

Problem conclusion
