Error description
In the latest AIX Service Packs, using the thread_cputime or thread_cputime_fast interfaces can cause invalid data in the floating point and vector registers. . This has been primarily seen to affect Oracle 11gR2 (11.2.0.3 and 11.2.0.4), which use this interface. Multiple errors have been seen in these Oracle 11gR2 releases as a result of this issue, including: - ORA 600 errors - oracle process core dump - errors in redo logs and check sum errors in other blocks
