  • Customer modified the HEARTBEAT_FREQUENCY then tried
to synchronize the change using this command --
 clmgr sync cluster
The command failed with this message --
 No HACMPnode class found with name =

Local fix

  • Use cldare or smitty to synchronize the cluster.

Problem summary

  • Cluster sync or clmixver fail with message
No HACMPnode class found with name =
or
No HACMPnode class found with handle = 0

Problem conclusion

  • Change criteria by which clmixver searches for local node name
