Error description

  • Conditions:
- AIX 7.2 TL1
- JFS2 directory remote mounted over NFS

Disk space and inodes may not be freed when files are
deleted. In general, larger fragmented files are more
likely to be affected.

Local fix

  • Unmount and re-mount the affected JFS2 filesystem.
