Error description

  • If a prempting job fails to run for some reason then the
preempted job may never resume.

Local fix

  • 



Problem summary


    

  • When the preempting jobs is rejected, CM did
not clear the preempted jobs' some flags when
it re-enter the idle queue, so it can not be
re-scheduled again.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • In the preemption, when the preempting jobs failed,
in the function moveStartingPreemptingStep() function,
the preempted jobs's some flags should be cleared when
it is put into the idle queue from starting queue, else
it will not be re-scheduled by CM.
