APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Running "netstat -v" or "entstat -d " on unused
  ports results in
  these errors:

Local fix

• Connect all ports to a switch. Only unplugged ports will
  show the error.
  or:
  rmdev -l entX
  or:
  create an IP interface with a dummy IP address on the
  devices

Problem conclusion

• Introduced a facility where user can delay link status error
  logging or link status notification to upper layers.
  
  Introduced 2 new ODM attributes as explained below.
  
  1. link_delay_mode
  Possible values are "none,logging,callback,all".
  logging - Delays the link status error logging.
  callback - Delays the link status callback to upper layers.
  all      - Delays both error logging as well as notification.
  none     - Does not alter anything.
  
  2. link_delay_time
  Specifies the delay in seconds.
  
  By default,
  link_delay_mode="logging"
  link_delay_time=5
