  • In 7.1 TL3, you may experience corruption of /etc/qconfig
    when adding or removing print queues, especiall on a more
    active system with several print queues defined and
    printers.

    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:

    * when adding or removing print queues, especiall on a more

    * RECOMMENDATION:
    * Install APAR IV64249.
    ****************************************************************
    

Problem conclusion

  • Appropriate code changes to get lock that will avoid any error
    message in case many queues are simultaneously added and
    removed.
