Error description

  • During a migration operation using nimadm, the following
message is displayed repeatedly after the bos.wpars
fileset is updated:
0518-506 odmget: Cannot open object class file_overlay
 Check path name and permissions.

Local fix

  • Replace the bos.wpars fileset in the lpp_source being
used
for nimadm with a copy from the 7100-03-03 base media.

Problem conclusion

  • Updated the post update script in bos.wpars to create the
file_overlay dependency during a nimadm operation.
