  • getconf DISK_SIZE shows wrong disk size for large disks
such
as 10TB , for example:
# getconf DISK_SIZE /dev/hdiskxx
1048576
while the correct output should be
10485760

Local fix

Problem summary

  • getconf reports incorrect output to customer for
larger disk such as 10TB.

Problem conclusion

  • Returning correct value of disk size to getconf.
