There are cases where the disk ping driver may stop returning ESTALE on some ioctl calls even though the data is still stale. This could cause the AIX CAA code to become confused about the state of other nodes in the cluster.

There are cases where the disk ping driver may stop returning ESTALE on some ioctl calls even though the data is still stale. This could cause the AIX CAA code to become confused about the state of other nodes in the cluster.
Problem conclusion
Modified the disk ping driver to ensure that ESTALE continues to be returned as long as the data is stale.
