APAR status

Error description

  • snap -e and snap caa can invoke huge amount of concurrent
disk commands when the system has large number of disks.
This may lead to the disk performance degradation due
to high number of concurrent disk I/Os.

  • Disk or FC errpt entries indicating "No Command Resource Count"
is increased.

Problem conclusion

  • Made concurrent disk commands to run sequentially instead.
