    * devices.common.IBM.usb.rte from 6.1.8.16 to 6.1.8.19

    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
    * A customer can have a situation were the usb
    * keyboard and mouse will not work on the console
    * attached to the server.

    * RECOMMENDATION:
    * Install APAR IV61373.

Problem conclusion

  • A tunable timetosettle has been provided where user has to set
    it by running chdev command on the usb0 device and then reboot
    the machine. The tunable value can range from 1 to 10.  For
    example to set this tunable to ten seconds run the following
    command chdev -l usb0 -a timetosettle=10 -P
