Error description
After an upgrade System V no longer prints to certain brands of printers like: Toshiba Tally Canon iptrace will show full job transferred then AIX sends a RST packet and printer does not print.
Local fix
Problem summary
Customer has upgraded their AIX version ( AIX 6.1 TL 08). After that they are not able to print anything from AIX to certain brands of printers like: Toshiba , Tally, Canon
Problem conclusion
XTI code is modified to perform close on the normal close path. This will exchange FIN packets under normal close conditions and printers will print the job.
