Error description

  • After setting the identify indicator for a SCSI disk with
the usysident command, the usysident command query would
still
show the status of the disk as normal instead of
identify.

Problem summary


    

  • Unable to identify SCSI devices in a SCSI enclosure from the
comand line and the diag identify task does not list the slots
in an SES.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • Corrected the logic to list both SCSI and SAS SESs.
