  • Global system was migrated from 6.1 TL6 to 7.1 TL2

Then the WPAR migration was performed in a separate
operation using the migwpar command.

The migwpar command fails with the following error
message:
syncroot: Error synchronizing installp software.
syncroot: Returns Status = FAILURE
/usr/lib/corrals/corralinstcmd: 0960-231 ATTENTION:
'/usr/sbin/syncroot' failed with return code 1.
syncroot returned a non-zero return code for MQ7wpar01.

Problem conclusion


    

  • Pre-commit the software in a wpar, before the migration.
Pseudo deinstall any software that no longer ships in version
7.
