Local fix

Problem summary

  • As the hardware implementation doesn't have a semaphore
mechanism, concurrent access to the I2C bus may result in
adapter reset failure, which inturn cause a FW Dump.

Problem conclusion

  • Qlogic introduced a shared RISC-to-RISC semaphore
to indicate shared I2C accesses are occuring. Before
resetting the ISP the driver must acquire the shared
semaphore, within the stipulated time mentioned by the
Qlogic documentaiton. This will avoid the access contention
    for I2C Bus.
