IV56275: TMPFILE() RARE RACE CONDITION, MIGHT FAIL WITH ERROR EEXIST APPLIES TO AIX 7100-04

Error description

• tmpfile() might fail, after setting errno to EEXIST,
  in very rare conditions, most likely several applications
  using tmpfile() to create temporary files in the same
  directory.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• tmpfile() might fail, after setting errno to EEXIST,
  in very rare conditions, most likely several applications
  using tmpfile() to create temporary files in the same
  directory.
  

Problem conclusion

• Code changes have been made such that when tmpfile,
  finds a file with the same name is created in between,
  the generation of temporary name and creating the file,
  it will try to create another file with a different name,
  instead of failing immediately.
